"WEDDINGS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, MEANINGFUL , EXPENSIVE, & CAN BE VERY STRESSFUL, so the more planning and care on the part of the NaturaLash iStylist, the better. The NaturaLash iStylist can be such a huge part of a perfect wedding outcome by providing services that can help the bride feel confident and beautiful. Conversely, poor, unplanned services can be disastrous!!   Below are some of my favorite (wedding) notes from classes of past.  Enjoy!"

  • No skimping or shortcuts!! Weddings can bring lots of new clients and business to your practice so be prepared to showcase yourself and your work.
  • Early consultation and first application AT LEAST two months prior (THREE TO FOUR MONTHS WOULD BE IDEAL),
  • Schedule refills every two weeks before wedding.
  • Schedule the last refill before the wedding as close to the date as possible.
  • If needed, adjust the type of glue used AT LEAST one month prior to wedding date in the unlikely event of an allergy. (Some clients can be allergic to other glues). Allowing a four month period prior to the wedding will decrease any "surprises" such as glue allergies, glasses not fitting, comfort, sleeping habits that are hard on extensions, or (unheard of) if they don't like the extensions.
  • Consultations include appropriateness for the procedure. Remember that not everyone is a candidate for eyelash extensions.
  • Take before and after photos so the bride can see what a difference the extensions can make.
  • By beginning months ahead of the date, the bride can be interactive in determining length and style for the perfect photo shoot.
  • Early application will help the bride understand the care and feel of the extensions.
  • The bride-to-be will be a "walking billboard" for your services. Her bridesmaids, friends, co-workers, and family will also see them prior to the wedding and want them applied too! You could offer referral discounts to the bride and others. The same early application rules will apply to all prior to an important event such as a wedding, party, interview, etc. GIVE YOUR CLIENT BUSINESS CARDS AND/OR BROCHURES for all of your services.
  • Schedule facials ahead of time as well, in order to avoid sensitivities and breakouts. A series of facials will help ensure "glowing" skin for her special day.
  • Practice and actual bridal makeup sessions should coordinate with the hair appointments. Allow plenty of realistic appointment time for all. Be prepared for everything - extension touchups included!
  • USE FRESH GLUE ALWAYS!!!!
