How Can I Make My Eyelash Extensions To Last Longer

Soon after going through our online eyelash extension training course, you want your lashes to remain long and abundant for at least two months. But do you know what the key is? To learn how to care for eyelash extensions so they last longer and longer. Don't blink for a moment as we tell you all the secrets:

Caring For Eyelash Extensions During The First Hours

During the first 24-48 hours after getting the treatment or if you've just taken our eyelash extension training in NJ, follow these tips to avoid having your eyelash extensions fall off prematurely.

  • Water bath, swimming pools Stay away! At first, don't wet them (for example in the pool, in the sea or a spa) or wash them.
  • Creams, makeup and makeup remover leave them aside Let the extensions affix well. If you use these or other cosmetics, your new lashes may be in danger of falling off. How? It's because they're neither oily nor waterproof. The creamy texture could mess up your lashes completely.
  • Humidity and heat – These are not good for extensions because they weaken them. So avoid contact with hot water and steam. For example, spending the afternoon in a Turkish bath, sauna or spa would not be the right thing to do.
  • Eyelash curler – You shouldn't apply it. Eyelash extensions are so profound and expressive that you are not going to need it.
  • Rubbing the eyes: To ensure that the lashes are well sealed and that the glue affixes them to your real eyelashes, don't rub your eyes. If they bother or sting you, consult an expert because they may have been placed incorrectly, or you may suffer from an allergy. However, if you put yourself in the hands of a professional eyelash extension online training  center where the instruments are clean and people take care of their hygiene, there shouldn't be any problem.

Sleep: If possible, sleep on your back or on your side so that your new extensions don't spoil and lose shape.

How To Care For Eyelash Extensions So That They Last As Long As Possible

After the first few days you can get back to normal life (bathe in the pool, in the sea, sleep as you like), but our quick and easy tips and tricks will help them last longer:

  • Use water-based cosmetics and forget about waterproof and oily products.
  • Avoid mascara. You won't even need it. But if you still want to use it, do only the tips of the extensions.
  • You can remove makeup without fear, but the trick is to use water-based products. The oils in makeup removers are harsh and can remove the semi-permanent glue and cause you to lose your lashes all of a sudden.
  • Don't use cotton pads to avoid damage. Apply a cleaning wipe to the area, instead.
  • Comb and shape your eyelash extensions every night with a special eyelash comb. This will add that “wow" effect you've always wanted to achieve with this treatment.
  • Excessive heat? Not a good idea. Avoid heat in the form of steam, although we can't prohibit you from it.
  • Don't touch them. If you notice a tab that seems to move, don't pull it; let it fall by itself (it will when you lose the natural tab).
  • Every 2-3 weeks go for a maintenance session to extend the longevity of the eyelash extensions.
