Magnification is absolutely critical for a proper eyelash extension application (You'll be amazed at what the naked eye can't see, even if you have perfect 20/20 vision).  

Most professionals will choose between a magnifying facial lamp or a clip-on, wearable style magnifying headset.  Although a facial lamp can work great, they are bulky and it does require that you move the lamp out of your line of sight when needed (as opposed to a headset that you can simply click up/down or look above/under).  We prefer the a headset/visor style, but not just any ordinary magnifying headset will do.  

A lot of our competitors offer headsets that you can find on ebay or amazon for a few bucks.  The problem with these is that they are usually heavy (especially if they have a built in light) and typically have cheap quality lenses and an uncomfortable fit.  After a two + hour appointment, comfort is a must!
